Studio Hire
Just a short walk from Old Street tube station, Tara London has five beautiful rooms available for hire for events, workshops and classes — for all forms of therapy, dance and talks, each with a unique design and feel. There is a large reception area, a small shop selling delicious but healthy snacks, a kitchenette and social seating space.
Our rooms
Five distinct studios across two floors, each suited to different events — from day-long workshops and teacher training to small treatments and one-to-one practice.
Hridaya
Hridaya is our largest room, and like our other rooms features dimmable lighting. Hridaya also has ambient coloured mood lighting, and a feature wall which can be easily decorated to create a beautiful atmosphere for your event. Hridaya is conveniently located near our downstairs kitchenette and social space, and a staircase leading to a back outdoor courtyard. Hridaya is one of the quieter rooms.

Shiva
Shiva is spacious and features ceiling noise-cancelling panels. It is located opposite to the shop and reception on the ground floor.

- One of our most popular rooms for day-long workshops and teacher training in yoga, reiki or massage. Also used for dance groups, gong baths, conferences, lectures, and women’s circles.

- 20 yoga mats incl. teacher, or 65 seats
Parvati
Our warmest and brightest studio thanks to the long wall of west-facing windows, Parvati is extra quiet, and faces a courtyard. The decor makes it perfect for more private meetings such as women’s events. It is on the ground floor near the reception and shop.

Akshobhya
Our smaller room, Akshobhya is cosy while still feeling spacious. Tucked away in the Centre, Akshobhya is the quietest room due to its location on the downstairs floor. It features floor-to-ceiling mirrors, ideal for small dance workshops or one-to-one practice.

Ganesha
Our smallest room, Ganesha is cosy while still feeling spacious due to the high ceilings and large, bright windows. This room is next to the shop and reception on the ground floor. It is our most popular room for treatments such as reiki or massage, and training or workshops in small groups.

More about the centre
Our studio is spread over two floors. As well as the room you hire, you will have free access to:
- Our large reception area, which has a shop stocking healthy, sugar-free, vegan snacks and drinks, gifts, and a small seating and table area.
- A lovely kitchenette equipped with a small fridge, kettle, sink and complimentary tea, as well as extra socialising and seating area.
- Each floor has 3 toilets and space for shoes and personal belongings.
- Each room has heating and fan-assisted ventilation if required.

Please note
- For bookings up to 4 hours, 15 minutes set-up time is included in the price of the booking. For bookings over 4 hours, 30 minutes set-up time is included.
- There may be several yoga and meditation classes happening at the same time as your booking, so we ask that noise levels are kept reasonable. Live drumming is not permitted.
- Outdoor shoes are not to be worn in any of the rooms at any time.
- Alcohol is not permitted in the centre.
Tara Yoga Centre is a charitable organisation, and all profits are directed back into the charity.
