Our London Location

A haven of tranquillity in the busy city. Instead of retreating to the remote countryside, at Tara you can learn to develop centeredness, calm and fulfilment even amid constant activity.

Reflecting this cosmopolitan city, all ages, nationalities and people — from healers, to lawyers or builders — are part of the community at Tara. Together we learn to embrace life in all its intensity, and allow all experiences to be fuel for transformation.

While our Centre is a peaceful and welcoming space, we are also full of activity, holding classes every night of the week, as well as meditations, festivals, talks, retreats, courses and parties across our five beautiful rooms.

We hold weekly ongoing courses in Yoga, Tantra and Kashmir Shaivism, as well as Shakti (women’s) and Vira (men’s) groups. Please see our course overview for the latest information.

How to get here

Tara London is just a short walk from Old Street tube station (Northern line and National Rail), in the heart of the city between Clerkenwell and Shoreditch.

There is a large reception area with a small shop selling healthy snacks, a kitchenette and social seating space to welcome you when you arrive.

Inside the centre

Our studio is spread over two floors, with five beautiful rooms each with their own unique design and feel, dimmable lighting, heating and fan-assisted ventilation.
