Every summer when Tara is closed, a wonderful group of students take some time to make our Centre even more beautiful, clean and inviting.
We will dedicate five days to the practise of Karma yoga – the yoga of selfless action. We will gain a deeper understanding of what Karma yoga is, and work together in the Centre on different tasks. We will also enjoy the community spirit by practising yoga together, having a movie night, shared meals and quality time together!
You are welcome to come for as much of the programme as you wish, and even an hour or two of your time will be most welcome!
A typical day:
10 – 10.30am Karma yoga talk and spiritual integration of the day
10.30am -1.30pm Karma yoga in the centre
1.30pm – 2.30pm Lunch (provided)
2.30pm – 6.30pm Karma yoga in the centre
Examples of tasks:
- Painting & DIY
- Reorganising the back of Hridaya and Akshobhya
- Deep clean of the entire centre
- Cooking meals
